App Redesign
Primary skills showcased: User Experience (UX) design, Wire-framing, High fidelity Prototyping, Figma
Redesign and transformation
When I joined the team, they had released an MVP—a basic directory of fitness professionals. However, the initial version didn't effectively serve its intended purpose. My responsibility was to work alongside the head of design, and together, we undertook a complete redesign of the app architecture for the upcoming version.Additionally, it needed to be re-coded due to its previous implementation in a language called Xamarin.
During my testing, I identified numerous bugs simply by using the app, which led to significant user frustration. The new language chosen was React Native. The picture below is from the first MVP.

Business Requirements
Scalable and future-proof
Build a foundation that allows the product to evolve and expand along with its user base.
Stay aligned with the business mission
To help everyone, everywhere become healthier.
Pivotal Feature
I advocated for a crucial product feature – the addition of an exercise library and plan builder. More details on this project can be found here. Completing exercise plans is undeniably one of the most crucial aspects of the user experience. We aimed to make it approachable, welcoming, and aligned with user expectations. The attached screen recording provides a snapshot of the app's current state. Achieving this required numerous wireframes and countless hours on Figma, but the result is worth it.
The other aspect of this process involves plan creation, a topic we delve into further in the Plan Builder Project.
Figma Prototypes
